Job Description:

Irie Caribbean is looking for a dedicated and energetic Restaurant Team Member to join our team! We take pride in serving authentic Jamaican cuisine with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. As a key part of our restaurant, you will have a versatile role, ensuring smooth daily operations, excellent customer service, and a clean, organized workspace.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet customers with a friendly attitude, take orders accurately, and provide an exceptional dining experience.
• Cash Register Operations: Handle cash and card transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate order processing.
• Dishwashing & Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining area by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Food Preparation: Assist with prepping ingredients, assembling meals, and following proper food safety procedures.
• Stocking & Inventory: Restock supplies, organize ingredients, and ensure all necessary items are available for daily operations.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff and front-of-house employees to ensure a seamless service.
• Other Duties: Support any additional tasks needed to maintain a smooth and enjoyable restaurant experience.

Requirements:

• Prior restaurant or customer service experience is a plus, but training is provided.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and have a positive attitude.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs if needed.
• Familiarity with Jamaican cuisine is a plus, but not required.
